Catonsville wildlife control tip of the month:

Why do squirrels die inside houses or attics?
Squirrels are common animals that you often see in your garden, in the park, in the wild forest and among other places. They feed on fruits, nuts, conifer cones, fruits, seeds, fungi, and some other plants. They also sometimes feed on leftover Catonsville animal trapping meat, insects and some small birds and other smaller rodents. They live in tress, bushes, burrows, tunnels, and sometimes, in your attic.

How do squirrels get into your house attic?
Squirrels live in trees and where they have the Catonsville animal control access to fruits and green vegetation. When they need to access fruits in a tree, they swing from one branch to another. However, sometimes they swing so hard and that they land into the attic of the nearest house. When they get there and the attic window is open, they get trapped and sometimes, they die in there. Aside from the instances that squirrels may swing from a branch to the attic, these animals can also get into an attic when they get trapped when they get into the house and climbed into the attic and get trapped in there. If you set a squirrel repellant, they will look for another place to camp in and the attic is the best and nearest place they can find in your house.

What do to when you find a dead squirrel in your house attic?
When it is unfortunate that a squirrel dies in your house attic, it will cause you much trouble than you expect. When they enter the stage of decomposition, they emit a combination of Catonsville exterminator gases, which is a smell of death. These gases will leak from your attic to your bedroom, living room, kitchen and any other places in your house. Aside from the faulty smell that a dead squirrel would cause you and the entire household, it can also attract flies that can bring harmful diseases such as diarrhea and other infections. To get rid of a dead Catonsville wildlife removal squirrel should be easy. All you need is a garbage bag large enough to fill with a full-grown squirrel. Take it to your backyard and bury it in a hole one feet deep or more. Lay some stones on the Catonsville pest control spot where you buried the dead animal to keep scavengers from digging it out. Once the squirrel was removed from the attic, disinfect the whole place and keep the window open for a couple of hours to let the fresh air in.
